Courses

ATMO 1300 Introduction to Atmospheric Science (TTU)

Entry-level course on atmospheric science for minors and non-majors. The videos I'm using to demonstrate some of the concepts discussed in class can be found here.

GPH 5310 Geophysical Fluid Dynamics (TTU)

Graduate level fluid physics course covering, among other topis, the material description of vorticity, vortex dynamics, and various realizations of waves in the ocean and atmosphere.

ATMO 5328 Synoptic and Mesoscale Dynamics (TTU)

Graduate level course covering the dynamics of synoptic-scale weather systems and of mesoscale phenomena, including fronts and internal waves.

Fall 2012: MEA 463 Fluid Physics (NCSU)

This was a senior-level fluid physics course with an emphasis on basic concepts as well as applications in geophysical fluid dynamics and (high-speed) aerodynamics.

2004-2006: 3534 L 865 IV Flight Guidance (TUB)

At the Technical University Berlin (TUB), I co-taught this class for aerospace engineers, which was focused on the normal operation procedures of a modern airliner (we used a full-flight simulator of an Airbus A330 and other flight training devices).
