Deployment Notes: Stennis Int'l Airport is not located at Stennis Space Center. The airport is located approximately 13 miles NW of coastal Bay St. Louis, MS. WEMITE #1 did not collect a complete data record due to a power regulator failure near the time of peak winds. The data presented in the data plots section and the table below are not standardized to represent constant open terrain exposure. The Stennis and Slidell deployment sites were not representative of open terrain exposure. Higher wind speed values may have been found in true open or marine exposure conditions.
